Green waste

If you know Harrogate, North Yorkshire, then you will know that the town is surrounded by 200 acres of greenery. The Stray is common land for the recreation of the towns folk. There has recently been a great debate on recycling green waste, which I fully support. However the council are urging the residents to recycle but do not, as far as I am aware, recycle any of the grass cutting of this vast expanse of grass in the middle of town.

I am also bemused that as a resident who supports this scheme I am not offered back any of the compost that I have help to create. It does annoy me.
